OUR DECLARATION We the people of these 50 States have patiently suffered mounting government outrages against us: lies, corruption, legal plunder and terror. We have waited in despair for reforms and redress, but the outrages have only gotten worse. We can now wait no longer. The fundamental rights of "We the People" must be restored now. Government's role must be limited to protection of our lives, liberty, and property. When government ceases to be our protector and instead becomes our master, it becomes an abomination.
I believe the biggest political problem in America is the career politician. I believe we need a change now, and across-the-board term limits are the answer. For a Congressman, 4 two-year terms are enough. Senators should be restricted to 2 six-year terms.
When money is as good as gold, the government cannot manipulate the supply for its own purposes. A gold standard puts extreme limits on the government’s ability to spend, borrow, and otherwise create crazy, unworkable programs. It is forced to raise its revenue through taxation, not inflation.
The role of the military is to provide a strong national defense. I support the maintenance of a sufficient military to defend the United States against aggression. The United States should abandon its attempts to act as policeman for the world and avoid entangling alliances.
It is Libertarian principle that you own your own body; you should be free to use any medication you choose – whether smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol, or using marijuana. The government should not bend your will by force.
The answer to America’s political problems is the same commitment to freedom that earned America its greatness: a dedication to civil liberties and personal freedom that marks this country above all others.
In the last few decades, the federal government has exploded in size. No area of your life or business is free from the meddling of politicians — especially your wallet. It doesn’t have to be that way. With less government and lower taxes, you could keep more of what you earn. It would be easier to start new businesses, build new homes, and fuel stronger economic growth
